Proof GB™ is a PASS accredited proof of age scheme. PASS (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
is endorsed by the Government and has the support of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), the Trading Standards Institute (TSI) and the Home Office. The Proof GB™ card bears
the distinctive PASS hologram which gives retailers of age-restricted products and enforcers
the assurance that the card is genuine. The PASS scheme works for both the retailer and young people. It ensures that the retailer has the confidence that the PASS accredited card is genuine and that the young person has access to goods and services to which their age gives them
legal access.
The PASS scheme is backed by all the main Trade Associations including:
Association of Convenience Stores, Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers,
Bar Entertainment and Dance Association, British Beer & Pub Association, BII, British Retail Consortium, Drinkaware Trust, National Federation of Retail Newsagents, ReSolv, Scottish Grocers' Federation, Ten Pin Bowling Proprietors Association, Video Standards Council,
Wine & Spirit Trade Association.
